Gay, Inc. Propaganda Rag Perpetuates the False Narrative that the Allyson Robinson Firing Had No Transphobia at its Core

The Gay, Inc. schlock rag that used to be the Advocate spews:

Both Buzzfeed and Bilerico posited the theory that Robinson’s removal was sparked by anti-trans bias, with the latter publishing an article on July 10 asking if the OutServe-SLDN scenario was “LGB Transphobia Rearing Its Ugly Head?” Other reports from Bilerico and Buzzfeed accused former co-chair Josh Seefried of leading a coup against Robinson, whose star was rising, arguably overshadowing Seefried.

But those reports are “completely false,” says current board chairwoman April Heinze. “The decline in funding had been a growing concern of the board for months and several special board meetings had been held to address reducing expenses and increasing revenue,” Heinze explains. “In the end, the board had to make a very tough decision to layoff staff and eliminate our physical offices in order to pay our bills.”

Nothing in the piece actually disproves the very real probability that transphobia was somwhere at the center of the mess, be it the primary reason or a strong second.

Gay, Inc. has long ago learned how to couch its transphobia in precisely the same terms that the rest of corporate America couches its homophobia (just ask any board member of NGLTF why the organization doesn’t hire trans people – or, in my case, even respond to my job application – to work on trans issues.)  Moreover, it in no way touches upon the possibility that the transphobic act wasn’t the firing but, rather, hiring her to captain a ship that they already knew was sinking, thereby giving Gay, Inc. the ‘justification’ – a justification it already believed was self-proven – to never hire trans women for anything, much less relevant positions.

Who needs Fox ‘News’ when we have Gay, Inc. hack ‘journalists’ protecting Gay, Inc. by manufacturing fake history?

Same as it ever was…..

Same as it ever was…..

Same as it ever was…..

Pic of the Day: July 28, 2013 (Special ‘Bambi on the Run’ Edition)

Near Coralville Dam in Iowa, yesterday evening.

If You’re Trans and Point Out Any Flaws in her Logic, Victoria Brownworth Will Lie and Publicly Claim that You Just Want to Rape and Murder Her; If You Point Out Her Fallacies on a Blog, She’ll Publicly Lie and Claim that Her Employer is in the Process of Suing You

Because Victoria Brownworth is the apex of ‘award-winning’ queer journalism in the 21st ‘all gay marriage, all the time’ century.

I’ve Had Just About Enough of ‘Elite Gays’ Who Whine About Being Referred to as ‘Elite Gays’

I’m just sayin’.

But, don’t take my word for it.  His own whining about making too much to get the Bush-era tax rebate check pretty much tattooed ‘Elite Gay’ on his forehead.  I’m just reminding people about the layers of make-up he’s applied to try to cover it up.

Radphlegm Thugs (Again)

Radphlegm Thugs

Redundant?

Of course.

But, Alas, No Heisenberg (But, Thankfully, Probably No Filner Either)

How I ended up with a flyer for the 1978 Comic-Con amongst all of my 1970s materiel, I don’t know.  I’ve never been to that Con (or San Diego, for that matter.)

I Don’t Want to Say ‘I Told You So,’ But…

Actually, I DO.

So, I think I will.

It’s Zimmer Man! But his reported rescue of the car crash seems to be falling to pieces

The responding officer who to went to the scene also happens to be a vocal George Zimmerman supporter on his Facebook account: Patrick Rehder

Newsball continues, “The plot thickens as there is NO mention of Officer Rehder meeting George Zimmerman at the crash scene anywhere on his facebook, despite the July 17th incident being sandwiched in between continual support of George Zimmerman both before, & from the aftermath of the trial.”

Who else did not mention the accident? The people involved in the accident. Also, there are no pictures or videos of said accident. And the mother involved in the supposed crash deleted her Facebook page after being asked about the authenticity of the incident

Using Internet vernacular, pics or it didn’t happen.

Memo to Anthony Weiner

Go away.

Apparently, No One in Corporate Media Has Ever Seen the Movie ‘The Contender’

From C(orporate)NN:

Four days after he was acquitted of murder, George Zimmerman stepped out of seclusion to help a family get out of an overturned vehicle in Florida, authorities said Monday.

A refresher: The Contender.

I’m just wonderin’….
