Was it only joking?
Shouldn’t the 2016 North Carolina gubernatorial election have to transpire before a case can be lodged on behalf of North Carolina against the United States to invalidate trans-positive law?
Fair is fair, after all.
No?
From the News & Observer:
An NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released Friday gives Democrats Roy Cooper and Hillary Clinton their biggest leads so far in North Carolina.
While most polls so far have indicated a near-tie between Republican Gov. Pat McCrory and Democratic attorney general Roy Cooper, the new poll found that 51 percent of registered voters surveyed prefer Cooper. Only 44 percent said they favor McCrory – a widening lead from the firm’s July poll that gave Cooper a 49-45 lead.

From LGBTQ Nation:
There may not be any openly transgender athletes competing in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil, but the games are already making history for their inclusion of transgender people.
In the opening ceremonies, transgender Brazilian supermodel Leandra Medeiros Cerezo, better known as Lea T, led Team Brazil. According to the Huffington Post, it’s the first time and openly transgender woman has had a role in an Olympic ceremony.
And, while we’re at it, lets not forget the less fashionable trans women who continue to be slaughtered on the streets in Brazil.

Meet the Mayor of Stockton, California, Republican Anthony Silva. Silva is a Super DeLux Brand New and Improved Christian. In fact, he gave the key to the city to God.
…
Personally, I think the mayor made that gesture to make people think he’s something he ain’t.
The mayor of Stockton, California, was arrested on Thursday on a felony eavesdropping charge stemming from a strip poker game he is accused of surreptitiously recording at a summer camp he hosts for disadvantaged inner-city children, prosecutors said.Mayor Anthony Ray Silva, 41, was also charged with three misdemeanor counts – contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child endangerment and furnishing alcoholic beverages to individuals under the legal drinking age of 21, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.
I don’t suppose he gave God a key to summer camp.
