She Keeps Using That Word

“Hate”

ADMF

I do not think it means what she thinks it means.

But I am sure that it does not mean “conclusively disproving an immoral defense of a fraudulent hunk of pseudoscience that an LGB(T) ‘literary’ clique attempted to bestow an award upon, either without reading or without caring about the indefensibility thereof.’

Reality’s Middle Finger

Just now posted on Facebook by Andrea James:

Via Lambda Literary:

“After thoughtful, serious, and full consideration, Lambda Literary has rescinded the nomination of Galileo’s Middle Finger: Heretics, Activists, and the Search for Justice in Science from the LGBT Nonfiction category of the 2016 Lammys.

The nomination process did not include full vetting of all works to be certain that each work is consistent with the mission of affirming LGBTQ lives.

Lambda Literary will strive to improve the nomination process and work to maintain the highest standards in the awards nominations, recognizing literature that contributes to the preservation and affirmation of LGBTQ culture, and which honors LGBTQ lives.”

The Continuing Saga of The Dredge

DannyRyan

Not to Say I Told You So, But…

NotToSayI bring this up because of the other event that happened in 2007 – namely The Dredge’s attempt to defend Michael Bailey’s conclusively – and repeatedly – disproven ‘science’ fraud (d/b/a The Man Who Would be Queen).  I’ve always thought it more than a bit curious that that happened right as the trans community found itself having to deal with the fraud perpetrated against it by HRC president Joe Solmonese at Southern Comfort (and, of course, the ensuing ENDA debacle.)

Well, The Dredge is at it again.

So, Gay, Inc., must be up to no good off camera.

ENDA is dead for the duration of the Obama presidency (unlike in 2007 when trans people were thrown under the bus, from 2009-present its all LGBTs whose economic and social needs are not solved by gay marriage being thrown under the bus), so, that’s likely not what our attention is being diverted from.

Might the internet be currently being even more thoroughly scrubbed of any residue of the leaked internal report which proved just how toxic the transmisogyny was at HRC even under Chad Griffin, who was at least able to give what seemed, at least on the surface, to be a heartfelt speech at Southern Comfort in 2014 (begging a question never, of course, asked by gay media: How bad must it have been under Solmonese? Or Birch?)?  Perhaps the two of the oodles of trans people whose employment at HRC were trumpeted by Griffin last year – but who are no longer working there – know.

I Guess I Missed the Dictionary in Which “Fraudmonger” is a Definition of “Star”

From the Chronicle of Higher Education:

Star Scholar Resigns From Northwestern, Saying It Doesn’t Respect Academic Freedom

Alice Dreger doesn’t usually pull punches. So it’s no surprise that her resignation letter is more, shall we say, direct than the average two weeks’ notice.

Ms. Dreger resigned this week from Northwestern University, where she was a clinical professor of medical humanities and bioethics, a nontenured gig she’d had for the past decade.

Which, based on her ongoing, obnoxious, fact-averse defense of the indefensible (read: Michael Bailey) was a decade too long.

Countdown to The Dredge becoming the in-house ‘expert’ on trans issues for Fox ‘News’ in 3…2…1….

How to Make Me Author a Post Fully and Completely Supporting Caitlyn Jenner?

Give proven liar and con-artist Michael Bailey a platform to attempt to re-animate ‘autogynephilia.’

Michael Bailey is professor of psychology at Northwestern University and one of the more prolific sex researchers in the world. He kindly accepted my invitation to discuss autogynephilia in light of Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.

Who is “He”?

He’s Warren Throckmorton – and he doesn’t bother telling his readers that Michael Bailey (and his publisher) should have been prosecuted for fraud by labeling The Man Who Would be Queen as ‘science.’

He’s Warren Throckmorton – and he doesn’t bother telling his readers that Michael Bailey’s fraudulent ‘science’ was based on hanging around Chicago drag bars and informally interviewing a grand total of seven women.

He’s Warren Throckmorton – and he doesn’t bother telling his readers that Michael Bailey’s other ‘subject’ in The Man Who Would be Queen didn’t exist.

He’s Warren Throckmorton – and he doesn’t bother telling his readers how Michael Bailey mysteriously ceased being chair of the Northwestern University psychology department in the aftermath of The Man Who Would be Queen being conclusively debunked.

He’s Warren Throckmorton – and he doesn’t bother telling his readers that the career that Alice Dreger has manufactured for herself over the last decade of claiming that Bailey has not been proven to be a fraud is even more of a fraud than Bailey’s career.

WT: Why is there so little media coverage of the autogynephilia angle?
MB: I think it’s a mixture of ignorance, political correctness, and fear. Most journalists know what they know from the media and from transgender activists — who do not mention autogynephilia

Well, real media doesn’t mention it for the same reason it doesn’t mention flat-earth ‘science’ and eugenics.

And transgender activists do mention it – but we simply point out that its been conclusively proven to be as fraudulent as, well, flat-earth ‘science’ and eugenics.

Oh yeh…

Caitlyn Jenner…

I fully and completely support her.

Life is So Easy For Self-Declared ‘Ethicists’

No responsibilities and…

well, lets just stick with that: No responsibility, no responsibility at all.

From Cristan Williams at TransAdvocate who, apparently, with a handful of phone calls, does more actual journalism than the Toronto Star does in, well, who knows how long:

On Saturday, the Toronto Star’s “ethics” journalist, Ken Gallinger, unquestioningly published the incredible claim that an elderly Toronto women was hit on in the YMCA women’s locker room by a male-bodied individual who was walking around the women’s locker room fully nude, replete with erection.

The claim is a hoax. We can add this fake incident to the growing list of other fake incidents:

How do we know that the Toronto ‘incident’ didn’t happen?

First:

When Autumn Sandeen wrote Gallinger about the article, Gallinger claimed no journalistic duty to fact check any claim saying, “It is, of course, not possible for me to substantiate most of the stories I’m told, and frankly I don’t try — my general policy is to deal with issues as they are presented…” To seemingly make the case that he wasn’t entirely derelict in his journalistic duties, Gallinger claimed that he did at least check to make sure “that the e-mail address from which it came was valid.” What Gallinger utterly failed to do, was pick up the phone and simply call the YMCA to verify any aspect of this anonymous story.

No journalistic duty to fact check any claim?

Who does Gallinger think he is?  The JohnThe Bil?

Clearly he’s not Cristan, because…

Since Gallinger wasn’t willing to fact check any of these claims, I contacted every Toronto YMCA with a pool and guess what?

No complaint or even rumor of anything like this exists in Toronto area YMCAs. Every Toronto area YMCA was shocked to learn that an unsubstantiated claim like this was propagated by the Toronto Star. Every Toronto area YMCA confirmed that nobody had made any complaint concerning anything even remotely similar to the claim made in the Toronto Star.

Cristan has posted audio and transcripts thereof.

Forward to your favorite christianist-lovin’ TERFs (Or is it TERF-lovin’ christianists?  Its so hard to tell these days), so they can get their stories straight (pun intended) next time they decide to commit group libel against trans people.
