Out behind the right field scoreboard at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa, during the matinee game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Burlington Bees on Monday.

The Bees got trounced fairly soundly – but not quite as bad as the worm eventually did.

One of the Certainties of Life

When right-wing, christofascist bullies whine to the media about being bullied (defined by reality as: the true victims simply standing up for themselves and refusing to take the right-wing, christofascist bullying anymore) you can rest assured that said right-wing, christofascist bullies are doing even more bullying behind the scenes.

Meet North Carolina:

While Republican state leaders have complained about being “bullied” by the federal government over House Bill 2, lobbyists in Raleigh tell WRAL News they and the businesses they represent are being bullied by state lawmakers seeking to silence business opposition to the new law.

Lobbyists say they’ve been told – either directly by legislative leaders or by lawmakers’ staff – that, if they or the businesses they represent speak out publicly against House Bill 2, they can expect retribution from House and Senate leaders.

Legislation they want won’t move, and other bills could actually target them.

WRAL News spoke with 11 lobbyists who have experienced or are aware of such actions, but none would speak on the record for fear they would lose business or be targeted for retribution. One has already lost business.

One long-time lobbyist called the pressure a “gross abuse of power.”

I’d call it a civil rights violation.

Wanna bet that Loretta Lynch has some words for it as well?

I’m Curious….

Lt. Gov. [Daniel “]Dan Patrick[” Goeb] took his crusade to keep men out of the women’s restrooms to the Fort Worth Independent School District on Tuesday, calling the administration’s interpretation of federal law allowing special accommodations for transgender students a “fantasy.”

Growing heated throughout a press conference just minutes before a Fort Worth Board of Education meeting, Patrick renewed his call for the North Texas superintendent to resign for having approved a policy allegedly overstepping his authority without the blessing of the public or the school board.

“If he wants to devise social engineering, he’s in the wrong job,” Patrick said of Superintendent Kent Paredes Scribner, a freshly minted district chief ….

Did Texas Lt. Gov. Daniel “Dan Patrick” Goeb make any threats against any of the administrators of the school district that just voted to waste sixty million dollars on non-educational crap (read: a new football stadium) that has no purpose other than engineering a new crop of serfs (read: professional college football players), some of whom will be engineered into a new crop of brain-damaged potential suiciders (read: professional professional football players)?

A school board in McKinney, Texas, just outside of Dallas, approved a $220 million bond proposal over the weekend, which included the construction of a 12,000-seat, $62.8 million football stadium, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Representatives from McKinney’s school district did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

In your heart, you know what the answer is.
