I Have a Better Question

That anti-gay bill in Arkansas actually became law today. Why couldn’t activists stop it?

Why c/wouldn’t HRC put some money (perhaps an amount equal to Arkansas native Chad Griffin’s salary?) into stopping it?

Five days ago, the Arkansas chapter of the Human Rights Campaign released a statement condemning the bill. “Discrimination is not an Arkansas value, and the Governor should take swift, immediate action to veto SB202,” said chapter director Kendra R. Johnson.

That’s not bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Its sending a paper airplane to go up against a B-52 bombing raid…

while the champagne and caviar flow with their usual force on Rhode Island Avenue in anticipation of a gay marriage ruling from the Supreme Court which will greatly benefit those who work on Rhode Island Avenue but live with spouses in Virginia but which won’t do squat for individual LGBs or Ts in Arkansas whose main concern is employment.
