Fox ‘News’ No Longer Believes in the Free Market

You knew this was coming, right?

CVS, the country’s largest drugstore chain, announced they would no longer sell cigarettes and other tobacco products. Cue: Fox News’ outrage because President Obama expressed support for the company’s decision.

On Fox’s The Real Story, host Gretchen Carlson was skeptical of the CVS decision and asked,”Is it OK legally … to restrict tobacco availability in a private store like this?”

Fox host and VP Neil Cavuto said that President Obama supported CVS’ decision, and speculated that CVS was “getting scaredy cat” because “with the health care law and the changes and everything else,” selling tobacco products “didn’t look good.”

You mean like how radio stations were “getting scaredy cat” about playing Dixie Chicks music after they opposed the fraudulent war in Iraq – and after Fox ‘News,’ Neal Boortz, Glenn Beck, et. al. began demonizing the Dixie Chicks?

Well, no, actually it isn’t like that given that on the murder-by-product scoreboard, Big Tobacco is currently leading the Dixie Chicks by a commanding 100,000,000 to 0.
