You Tell Me

Okay, then…

Does this make a fraudulent voter?

If the government gets to restrict who gets to vote based on possession of a government-issued photo ID – a concept that, when last I checked, could not possibly have been known to the founders – to compare with who all are registered to exercise the right to vote then the government should at least get to register gun owners and gun ownership to compare against those who commit/attempt to commit illegal acts with guns.

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

After all, is merely registering infringing any more than possessing a jump drive is hacking or possessing a gun is committing a crime?

I didn’t think so.

  1. Guns don’t kill people – people with guns kill people.
